First Burn Matters
- Allow the wax to melt evenly across
the entire surface during the first burn (2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling
and sets the memory of the candle.
Trim the Wick
- Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting. This helps the candle burn cleanly and prevents excess soot or smoke.
Burn Time
- Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This keeps the fragrance fresh and your vessel safe.
Safe Placement
- Place on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, pets, and children.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Extinguishing
- Use the candle lid as a snuffer, this keeps the smoke contained—never use water.
Reuse the Vessel
- When ½ inch of wax remains, discontinue use. Repurpose your decorative glass for flowers, brushes, or keepsakes.
